The most electrifying girl in anime entertainment has her birthday today.
Finally finishing up my Railgun S posts, sorry it took so long!
Episode 17 and 18 of Railgun S get us a new opening, new ending, and the start of new TV-only material adding to the canon of the girls and their lives. We say goodbye (maybe?) to Ritsu-clone and the earthquake girl, and we meet a new and mysterious loli!
The Sister arc comes to an extremely satisfying end and the show finally lightens up a whole lot.
One of the most well directed and portrayed scenes in an anime that I’ve seen, and probably the best ever performance by Rina Satou of all time. An incredibly powerful and moving episode, and surprisingly enough it’s thanks in half part to Touma who I’ve always voiced my hate for.
